In this article we are going to describe what goes into the resonant acronym CRM.

Some people have heard about this kind of systems, but there are those who have not heard or at least are not sure what that means.

Since this type of systems developed through years, just like the ERP systems they have been modified. In present days the CRM system serves not only for customer relationship management but it’s also used for campaign management, partner channels, contact centers, etc.

Do not get it wrong with other abbreviations such as SRM, because they are for other business processes.

Natural part of these instruments are market segmentation, characterization of the clients and partners. Automating repetitive processes, send e-mail, clearance of offers and so on... All these things are part of the CRM and if any of them is missing, then the software has flaws and unfinished parts.
